Elizabeth and Lucas
Thank you so much to all of our family and friends. We have decided to forego the traditional toasters and fine china and instead hope you can make our honeymoon fantasy come true. Picture a small remote horse ranch in the breathtaking backyard of British Columbia, Canada. You wake up every morning to a home cooked breakfast made from local fresh ingredients. You stop by to visit your own personal horse, feed him a carrot or two and brush his mane. Then its riding into the wilderness, exploring nature at its best, and coming back to a warm campfire. Finish off the night with a private cabin with the lullaby of the local wildlife. Well ... at least that's how we picture it! We will be spending 6 romantic days/nights at the Free Rein Ranch in British Columbia. With phones, tablets, and laptops shut off, the world suddenly seems so big and ready to take in. After we release our inner cowboy, we will be flying 2 days down INTO THE FOG! That's right, we will be exploring the Bay Area, taking cheesy pictures on the Golden Gate Bridge, eating some of the countries best food, and exploring to our hearts content. No gift is too small, or too large :), and we hope to share our adventures through pictures every step of the way. With this, you will know that your gift has been immediately put to use and enjoyed to its fullest. See you all on October 6th! Giddy up!Canada
A big hearty breakfast to start the day on the ranch full of energy! (hold the bacon)
The Bay Area is huge and calls for some major exploring! Nothing beats starting the day off right with a hearty breakfast.
Burritos in the Mission? Ramen bowl in Japan Town? Pizza from the Cheese Board? So many options ...
A day on the ranch means hiking, paddling, horse riding, and adventuring. A big warm fire cooked dinner will be essential for both the energy spent and to keep us warm on those cold fall nights!
"Baby when the lights go down, I hear you calling, I hear you calling" ... with the "YOU" being the infinite delicious restaurants the city has to offer. Drooooooool. :)
Supposedly famous for its Canadian-Asian fusion of food, I think we may have ONE particular food in mind. :)
No car? No problem! The Bay Area is crawling with public transportation for the adventure minded.
Our beautiful ranch lies nestled in the remote Cariboo lands of British Columbia, a whopping 5 HOUR DRIVE from Vancouver! We are gonna sport some rental car wheels and hit the road through some sce...
The stars of the show! Even though this is our wedding its these wonderful 4-legged friends which we are most excited to meet. Liz is looking for a fast one. Lucas might go with a pony ... or donkey.
Do you see this dog? This dog knows whats up. He is going to take to the skies with style. A few gifted miles will definitely make flying entirely across the country a little easier. :)
Before we trade our sneakers for cowboy boots, we will be spending one night in Vancouver. Nothing beats a beautiful wilderness cabin, but nobody complains about some nice hotel pampering either. :)
Not sure what to gift? Cowboy Ben has got you covered. He has personally promised to watch our backs and help us along every step of the way. :)
A soft bed, a warm fire, and a glass of wine ... all tucked away in a private cabin in the remote mountains of British Columbia. The very definition of a romantic honeymoon. <3
