Shannon and John
we love you! welcome to our honeymoon registry site. we feel blessed to have each other and all the material possessions we could ever want, more than we want actually. so we have decided to be a little unconventional with this honeymoon registry. instead of registering at several stores, we decided to share our first adventure as a married couple by allowing those who love us to contribute to it. we really wanted to share significant parts of our lives with one another and visit dear friends who live on the other side of the world. for john, we are going to spend some time in china visiting shannon's dear friends who now live there. for shannon, we will travel around thailand meeting john's friends from his time living there. this site allows our loved ones to contribute gifts using a credit card (via paypal), as well as cash or checks (via mail or in person). choose the gift(s) you want to give, click "give gift" at the bottom, and the site will walk you through the steps. if you are mailing a gift send it to: Shannon ACU Box 28187 Abilene, TX 79699 thank you so much for your love and support - john and shannonThailand Lahaina, Hawaii Maui County, Hawaii Bangkok, Thailand Thailand
we love the earth and we want to help take care of it, but it can be confusing to figure out what a carbon footprint looks like and how much it costs to offset it. we made our best guess with the h...
we plan to stay at the lovely... actually we aren't sure yet, but it'll be great.
we'll need a good amount of going about before such a long time sitting on a plane. maybe we'll rent some bikes.
this is the big one. we are flying singapore air because have newer fuel efficient planes and we can get a flight all the way to chiang mai with only one brief layover. trying to minimize our impac...
aroi mak mak! we hope to go to some of john's old favorites as well as find a few new ones.
we hope to have a few romantic dinners or maybe a night on the town to enjoy the rich culture of chiang mai night life.
there's so much culture who knows what we'll do! ride a bamboo raft down a river? explore the mountain temples? ride an elephant through the jungle? the possibilities are endless.
up in the mountains on a lake between the mountains there are houses that float on large bundles of bamboo. we can step outside our door and dive in for a swim.
all aboard! train travel in thailand is comfortable, safe, cheap, environmentally friendly. and unlike flying, it's a genuine thai experience making the journey as much a part of your trip as the ...
we plan on riding the train and taking a ferry to a unspecified resort in southern thailand. it's way more fun to see the country and it's better for the environment too.
we haven't quite figured out the best way to do this. we could fly but it would also be really fun to travel through laos or myanmar. hmm...
we will stay some with shannon's dear friends who live here, but we also plan to branch out on our own some.
we have no idea what we'll see. good thing we have several friends who have visited china before.
you never know when an adventure you didn't plan for will fall into your lap. whether it's as simple as bungie jumping or unforeseen as a detour trip to india you can help us stay prepared.
