On the 9th of January we will jet off to Japan for 3 weeks of skiing, sushi and Japanese culture (both the weird and the wonderful). We have purchased our flights and booked the accommodation - all that is left to do is fill our days with adventures and spectacular sights. We will venture out of Nozawa on a day trip to see the cute Snow Monkeys bathing in Nagano's hot springs.
We will experience the real clash of the Sumo's at Tokyo's Grand Sumo Tournament at Ryogoku Kokugikan stadium.

To shake things up, we will leave our skis hanging for the day and learn to snowboard. The day will be full of laughs, lots of tumbles and hopefully no broken bones.
We will need to brush up on our skills before exploring the Japanese mountainside.
We will head out for dinner and shopping in the trendy Shinsaibashi district.
