Jacqueline and Orion
Hello to all our beloved family and friends! We can't wait to celebrate our special day on the very island that brought the city girl and her island man together. We've been struggling on choosing a wedding registry, mostly because we have no space for a fancy blender or deluxe cheese graters. A friend of ours recommended a "honeymoon fund" instead of a traditional store registry and we were sold. We both love to travel/run around outdoors and can't wait to take our first adventure of many as a married couple. Now you might be wondering why we didn't choose a more exotic location. "Pacific Northwest? Really? Lame." The short answer is--the possibilities seem endless and neither of us want to commit to a foreign country at the moment! We do, however, have existing plans to travel to southern California in May for my beautiful sister and her lovely fiancé's wedding on Catalina Island. Why not take a fun road trip all the way up the coast of California and beyond afterwards? Orion has never seen the Pacific Ocean, Jackie wants to see killer whales in the wild (Blackfish really got to her...), there is some amazing hiking in store for us, we could end up in British Columbia and hang out with Canadians, etc. You get the point. Helping us fund this road trip would mean the universe and a half to us. We'll be putting together a video of all our adventures and will give everyone access as soon as it's up! :) Cheers, J & OCanada San Francisco, California United States Seattle, Washington Reservation, Oregon
Don't worry. Jackie will be fully padded and wear an especially hard helmet.
Orca watching tour off the coast of Washington state. Supposedly mid-May is when the most pods are migrating through the area!
Apparently some of the best star gazing around happens at this park! (insert corny Orion constellation joke here)
One of the nights we'll have to shower and get pretty.
Orion's been dying to channel his inner butcher. He can attend. Jackie will eat.
Would love to take a trip through Native American history.
Guided orca kayaking tours are ridiculously overpriced. We'll see if we can find some on our own...
