Sarah and Matt
Welcome to our honeymoon registry! Thank you so much for wanting to treat us to a wedding gift & as we said on the invite, all we want from you is to see your smiling face at our wedding. We really do appreciate that a lot of you are having to fly thousands of miles to celebrate with us, and we can't wait to see you over here! If you do still wish to treat us to a gift we would be really grateful if you could contribute towards our epic 2.5 month honeymoon. On this website we have listed various activities we hope to do while on our big trip. We are heading off on our honeymoon a week after the wedding with a 'little' 21 day hike in the Himalayas up to Everest Base Camp, once recovered from that we are planning to explore the rest of Nepal before heading into the craziness that is India. To finish up the honeymoon we are flying across to Sri Lanka for a chillout, with the last week of the trip relaxing in Borneo. Feel free to contribute any amount you like towards your chosen item and payments can be made via paypal with a credit card in advance, cheque through the post or cash on the day. Thank you once again! Looking forward to seeing you soon. Love Matt & Sarah xSri Lanka Jaipur, India Kathmandu, Nepal India Nepal
Quick stopover, one-nights accommodation in a posh hotel with a pool would be just the ticket
Our first meal of our honeymoon, and a chance to get a bit of delicious Malay food in before the trek beans and rice!
As we are traipsing around India after the trek, we are planning to hire equipment as opposed to buy - poles (apparently not just for the oldies), down jackets and sleeping bags
A 7 hour bus journey.... hopefully not too many chickens running around our feet!
This little gem has had some great reviews - looks like a nice spot to chill out over a Nepalese feast and some 'Everest' lager!
As if riding on an elephant was not interesting enough already, the prospect of being chased by a one horned rhino or a bengal tiger sure spices things up
Our first stop in India. An oasis of calm in the craziness that is Varanasi! Two nights stay in an old Indian palace with swimming pool.
Time to get a bit of culture! Sarnath is the deer park and temple ruins where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma. It is also one of the few places near Varanasi to escape for a bit of peace & s...
If you fancy an amazing curry Taj Temlett, educate us in the fine art of Indian cuisine with a cookery course for two
Some crazy English have set this up - fly on zip wires between battlements, hill forts and ridge tops at Mehrangarh Fort
Another architectural must do in India! A guided tour around the stunning palaces from ye olde Maharaja days.
One humped trip into the desert and sleeping under the desert stars.
Pink city, done, so best do the blue city too - Jodphur! Hopefully there will be lots of blue hotels to choose from!
Enough with the trekking! Post Adam's Peak climb chill out in a tea-house bungalow.
Time to hone those rusty surf 'skills' of ours at the famous surf spot on the east coast.
We have only heard good things about Sri Lankan edible delights, so we're looking forward to a meal out in a fancy restaurant, complete with some 'Lion Lager'!
We would love to finish our honeymoon with a nice relaxing break in Sabah, Borneo en route back to Perth.
We wouldn't want to get bored in our last week of honeymoon, so we are hoping to test out our amazing Mt Everest fitness one last time of the trip, with a Mt Kinabalu climb (another Dad-Bags recomm...
Technically it is possible to get to the summit in a day..... but we are on our honeymoon after all, so we are hoping to break the climb up with an overnight stop in the lodge halfway up! The aim i...
