Amy and John
Thanks for visiting our "Wanderlust" site. Our goal as a married couple is to "travel light, travel far, and travel often". Globe-trotting adventures have played a big role in the continued evolution of our relationship, and as we plan to keep wandering the planet, we made the decision to not ask for any "stuff" for our wedding. If our friends and family are willing, however, to contribute to our first big trip as a married couple, we'd be grateful. To "bring you along on the adventure" and to connect you up with your gift, we plan to send photos from each location -- so if you'd like to see us toasting you with a fine glass of Rioja, check out the Pyrenees hiking section :). Happy travels!Spring Creek, Missouri Albuquerque, New Mexico Durango, Colorado Franschhoek, South Africa Namibia

One night at Hotel Telluride as we continue working our way through the American Southwest.
Night one glamping in Moab. The desert night sky is sure to be awe-inspiring as we rough-it in a luxury campsite in the shadow the Moab arches.
Night TWO glamping in Moab. We'll light a fire in the wood burning fireplace and toast some marshmallows after a day of hiking amongst the magnificent red rocks of the Moab desert.
A comfortable room in the canyon shade is exactly what we will need after hiking up the Narrows or up the West Rim Trail.
We'll spend our last night in Zion with stunning views of the desert landscape from the balcony of our room at the Majestic.
Two nights at the Lodge at Jackson Hole as a home base for several days of hiking.
A "branding iron" of onion rings- that alone give you an idea of what this classic Jackson Hole restaurant is all about. But wait, there's more! Cedar plank salmon, Buffalo Hanger Steak, and Wild...
One way flight from Jackson Hole to Belize for a week of relaxation post-hiking road trip.
One night in Madrid at the historic Palace Hotel to relax and take in some jamon and vino tinto before embarking on our Pyrenees trek.
According to the New York Times, when chefs visit Madrid and are looking for classic tapas, they head to Sacha's. If it is good enough for the pros, it is good enough for us! We'll throw ourselves...
We'll celebrate the end of our Pyrenees trek and our last night in Spain with an epic night of tapas (and possibly a few glasses of sangria!).

Dining al fresco with a view of Table Mountain and the ocean, a glass of bubbles in hand? Yes, please! We'll be spending a night out exploring Cape Town's booming restaurant scene.
How often can you say you had dinner under the sea? Literally? This fine dining restaurant sits 5 meters under the surface of the ocean allowing for 180 degree views of the Maldivian coral reef.
We'll end our crazy honeymoon trek with a few days of pure relaxation at the Conrad Maldives. A couple's massage at their over water spa will get us in island spirit.
Yes, the Maldives is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. We can't wait to end our honeymoon in this magical place!
Even with so many great ocean activities to choose from, it will be hard to pull ourselves away from our over-water room.
As tough as it will be to leave our room, at some point we'll need to eat... when we do, we'll walk on the stilted paths back to the main island, watching the sea creatures swim beneath our feet.
We'll look forward to waking up in paradise- a jump of the deck into the ocean for a swim and a coffee watching the sunrise.
Should we feel the need to escape the room, there is a salt water infinity pool calling our names. Nothing like a good book, an iced tea, a great view, and a pool to cool off in.
We will no doubt feel a touch of melancholy our last night in the Maldives as our epic honeymoon comes to an end. But as we always say, one adventure must end for another to begin.
