Location and honeymoon details go here. To preserve the privacy of the couple, we have removed details from this view.
I mean we gotta be safe.
This is a very modest estimate of the amount of cheese we will be eating.
We're gonna eat it when we're there and we're gonna eat it when we're back home! Carbs! Don't care!
We will most likely need to rent a car to get to some of the more remote places we want to go!
Most of the time while we are hiking we will be stopping at rifugios along the way for lunches. Yummmmm.
Ok we have to do SOMETHING besides eating and hiking. We'd also love to check out some museums both in Rome and the Belluno area!
We will be doing some bus traveling between the airport in Venice and the Dolomites region, and also from town to town within the Dolomites.
For a portion of our trip we will be hiking from tiny village to tiny village and staying in "rifugios", which are little mountain huts that provide rooms and meals. Apparently the food is insane and the views are also insane. PERF.
Pottery! Fabrics! Crazy balsamic vinegar! Who knows!
Whoa check out this crazy place we found on Air BnB from the 15th century! We're gonna stay here for two nights!
We'll be flying in and out of Rome and we'd love to spend a night or two being real American tourists!
Right after we are done with our hike in the Dolomites we are going to take a bus to Belluno to pick up our rental car! We are staying in the area for two nights and supposedly they are famous for their semi-soft cow's cheese fried in butter! Not a problem!
Belluno, Province of Belluno, Italy
Um this place is insane and it's on our way from the Dolomites to the Aosta Valley. Apparently this place traces back to the year 1000, when hermits lived on the cliff side! We love you, hermits!
Spiazzi Monte Baldo, Spiazzi, VR, Italy
We are gonna swing our way over to the northwestern part of the state for 4 nights before we start heading back south! We found a perfect little AirBnb hosted by a dude named Dimitri that is decorated with many wooden clogs and stuffed animals!
Aosta Valley, Italy
We are going to stay in Tuscany for 3 nights on our way back down to Rome. An agriturismo is a working farm that also doubles as a bed and breakfast and usually a restaurant. Borgo Sant’Ambrogio makes organic olive oil! Yeah!
We are going to be right near Montepulciano when we are in Tuscany and we're hoping we can find a Taco Bell there. JK JK JK!
Montepulciano, Province of Siena, Italy
There are a bunch of WW1 tunnels in the Dolomites and we can hike through them!
We love to cook and we can't think of anything dreamier than learning how to make fried ravioli from this sweet lady (or someone like her)!
This place is ridiculous and they have a sauna on the top of a mountain.
Um hiking on a glacier yes. We will probably need a guide for this so we don't fall INTO the glacier, as well as rental equipment like these crazy spikes you put on your boots they call CRAMPONS!
Coffee everywhere all the time!!
We'll be stopping over in Bologna on our way to the Dolomites!
It's gonna be perfect!
We are going to be driving through Bologna to get to the Dolomites and we are going to eat pasta there!
We are gonna stop in Venice and eat Venice stuff on our way to the Dolomites!
We are going to stay a night in Venice on our way up to the Dolomites!
